Update February 11th, 2020
Dear Lumberyard family,
We hope you are staying healthy and safe.
Since last March we have all been scrambling to adapt to our new COVID-19 world. We were so stoked that we have been able to continue riding and hosting our Fall After School Programs.
But, with increase in COVID-19 infection rates we had to close again, starting Wednesday November 18th. On February 9th, Oregon Health Authority reported that the infection trends had decrease enough in our county to drop us out of the Extreme Risk Level starting February 12th. We hope to open for sessions again the week of 2/15.
The High Risk Level provides the following guidelines.:
Reducing maximum restaurant capacity to 50 people (including customers and staff) for indoor dining, with a maximum party size of six. Continuing to encourage outdoor dining and take out.
Reducing the maximum capacity of other indoor activities to 50 people (includes gyms, fitness organizations/studios, bowling alleys, ice rinks, indoor sports, pools, and museums).
SOCIAL DISTANCING practices are in effect to help maintain a 6-foot separation, with face covering used by staff and required for visitors 5 and older (starting 7/24). The face covering mandate has also been expanded to include people who are exercising indoors. Please follow this guidance from OHA.
BIKE SHOP: Now open for concierge service, with limited occupancy. Starting 2/15 Shop Hours are Monday – Saturday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. New bikes, scooters, parts, full service and maintenance available.
SCHMIZZA PUB & GRUB is currently closed. We will reopen just as soon as the current trends show some stability.
AFTER-SCHOOL SHRED ACADEMY has been postponed. We hope to start up again very soon.
SUMMER CAMPS should be posted soon.
PRIVATE LESSONS: TBD
RIDING SESSIONS: All riding sessions are on hold. We hope to begin 30 rider max sessions soon.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES: TBD
ARCADE: Will remain closed for the time being.
This is an evolving situation and we are closely following the Center for Diseases Control and the Oregon Health Authority to make sure we are following the latest guidance and safety procedures to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
The coming weeks will likely bring more change. Stay tuned and — most importantly — stay well.
