WeUpdated November 15th, 2020
Dear Lumberyard family,
We hope you are staying healthy and safe.
Since March we have all been scrambling to adapt to our new COVID-19 world. We are so stoked that we have been able to continue riding and hosting our After School Programs.
We are still in Phase I reopening with a two-week “pause” that started November 11th and a 4-week riding closure starting Wednesday November 18th:
Two-Week Pause measures that directly affect the Lumberyard include:
Reducing maximum restaurant capacity to 50 people (including customers and staff) for indoor dining, with a maximum party size of six. Continuing to encourage outdoor dining and take out.
Reducing the maximum capacity of other indoor activities to 50 people (includes gyms, fitness organizations/studios, bowling alleys, ice rinks, indoor sports, pools, and museums).
SOCIAL DISTANCING practices are in effect to help maintain a 6-foot separation, with face covering used by staff and required for visitors 5 and older (starting 7/24). The face covering mandate has also been expanded to include people who are exercising indoors. Please follow this guidance from OHA.
BIKE SHOP: Now open for concierge service, with limited occupancy. Hours are Tues-Friday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. New bikes and service available.
SCHMIZZA PUB & GRUB is open and serving guests.
AFTER-SCHOOL SHRED ACADEMY is on for the Winter. Although filling up fast, there are some earlier slots available.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Are available!
RIDING SESSIONS: All riding sessions are scheduled in advance. We are currently capped at 30 riders per session.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES: May be able to resume when Multnomah County enters Phase II reopening.
ARCADE: Will remain closed for the time being.
This is an evolving situation and we are closely following the Center for Diseases Control and the Oregon Health Authority to make sure we are following the latest guidance and safety procedures to help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our community.
The coming weeks will likely bring more change. Stay tuned and — most importantly — stay well.
